The second European Fair Trade Fair will take place at Halle Tony Garnier

On 2nd, 3rd and 4th October, 2009

20,000 visitors (of which 5,000 professionals) and 300 exhibitors are expected !

A perfect place to boost Fair Trade !
Almost half of the 17,000 sqm hall will be used to welcome exhibitors and visitors, in a convivial and original atmosphere.

This venue is a perfect place for a European Fair Trade Fair, and for setting up a Business to Business area, able to meet the requirements of professional visitors – who are asking for such a meeting place at European level.

Easily accessible, by tramway, tube or « Vélo’v » (rent bycicles), close to the city center of Lyon and next to the Gerland stadium, this venue is a major place of the city.

A place of history
The Halle Tony Garnier, a historical place for the city of Lyon, is hosting the European Fair Trade Fair and its participants with great interest.
Built at the beginning of the century by the architect Tony Garnier, it successively was a cattle market, an exhibition hall for Lyon’s International Fair, an armament factory...

Today, the Halle Tony Garnier is an adjustable hall that is used for various types of events: concerts, performances, congresses or sports events anf of course shows and fairs, such as the independant wine growers’ fair that has lately attracted 70,000 visitors... making it a well-known and appreciated venue in Lyon.
